This book by Marian Stubenitsky explores fabrics using only one tie-up shaft. The principle was discovered by Stubenitsky in 2001 and further developed into twill-panama weaves, which allow for large-scale patterns — even on a relatively low number of shafts. The book also presents other fabrics on 4, 8 up to 32 shafts, showcasing a wide range of structures: in addition to twill and panama, you’ll find basket weave, seven structures in one fabric, moiré-like effects, shadow double weave, and related bindings. Everything is clearly described and accompanied by weave drafts and photos.
